Daniel and Elin Smith created Sounds Familyre Records, an independent record label based in Clarksboro, New Jersey. It was started in 1999 by Danielson founder Daniel Smith to release the vinyl version of Danielson’s 2xLP “Tri-Danielson!!!” (Alpha&Omega) with the assistance of Scott Hatch from Burnt Toast Vinyl and SC Distribution. Along the way Ken and Amy Fabianovicz got involved with label strategy and mail orders. Now Ken and Scott have joined as partners with Daniel and Elin to bring new ideas, resources and approaches to the continually changing model of how a record label can best support its recording artists.

Daniel is also a painter, sculptor, and mixed-media artist, and Elin is an artisan, working in ceramic and fiber arts.
